By purchasing a gym membership or day pass, you agree to follow all rules and regulations set forth by the gym. This includes using equipment safely and responsibly, complying with dress codes, and being respectful to fellow members and staff. The gym is not responsible for any injuries or damages incurred while using equipment or facilities. Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. Any violation of the rules may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund. The gym reserves the right to change pricing and services offered without notice.
1. Agreement Overview
These Terms and Conditions govern the membership agreement between Level Up Gyms ("the Gym") and you, the member ("Member"). By signing up for a membership, you agree to comply with these terms.
2. Membership Details
2.1 The membership is a 12-month contract at a rate of £34.99 per month.2.2 The first month is offered at a promotional rate of £14.99.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Membership fees are due monthly via direct debit, payable on the agreed date each month.
3.2 If a payment fails, the Gym reserves the right to contact the Member for payment and may charge a £10 late payment fee.
3.3 Membership fees are non-refundable except as outlined in Section 6.
4. Membership Cancellation
4.1 This is a fixed 12-month contract. Early cancellation is not permitted except under specific circumstances outlined in Section 6.2.
4.2 After the initial 12 months, the membership will automatically renew on a monthly rolling basis unless canceled via email, in person, or over the phone.
5. Membership Suspension
5.1 Membership can be suspended for a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months within the 12-month term for reasons such as medical conditions or extended travel.
5.2 A suspension fee of £5 per month applies.
6. Cancellation Policy
6.1 The Member has a 14-day cooling-off period from the start date of the contract to cancel without penalty.
6.2 Early cancellation is permitted under the following circumstances:
Serious illness or injury (medical documentation required).
Relocation to an area more than 15 miles from the Gym (proof of address required).
6.3 Requests for cancellation can be made via email, in person, or over the phone with supporting documentation where applicable.
7. Facilities and Services
7.1 Membership grants access to all standard Gym facilities during operating hours.
7.2 Additional services, such as personal training, classes, or specialty programs, may incur additional fees.
8. Member Responsibilities
8.1 Members must adhere to Gym rules and policies, which are subject to change and displayed on-site or online.
8.2 Members must respect equipment, staff, and other members.
8.3 Any damage caused by the Member to Gym property due to misuse will be charged to the Member.
9. Health and Safety
9.1 Members use the facilities at their own risk and are advised to consult a doctor before beginning any fitness program.
9.2 The Gym is not responsible for injuries sustained while using the facilities, except in cases of negligence.
10. Data Protection
10.1 The Gym will process the Member’s personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
10.2 The Member’s data will be used solely for the administration of their membership and Gym communications.
11. Liability
11.1 The Gym is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property on the premises.
12. Amendments
12.1 The Gym reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions with 30 days’ notice to Members.
13. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
By signing this agreement or completing the online registration, the Member confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
